Kate Bush Art Outsiders by Tennessee Loveless
Kate Bush has inspired both creators of the Art Outsiders. Tennessee Loveless names her as someone who saved him, inspired him, and brought him joy in his youth, and Leslie Combemale of ArtInsights discovered her in 1979 and has played all her CDs and albums hundreds of times, flying to England to see her most recent concert. But she isn't part of the Art Outsiders just because they love her.
She broke into the top ten with the song Wuthering Heights, becoming the first woman to ever have a self-written song go to number one on the singles charts in England. She has released ten studio albums, all of which reached the UK Top 10, including the UK number-one albums Never Forever and The Hounds of Love. She is the first British solo female artist to top the UK album charts and the first female artist ever to enter the album chart at number-one as well as the first (and to date, only) female artist to have top five albums in the UK charts in five successive decades.
She has inspired nearly every female performer after her, from Tori Amos Sarah McLachlan, and Fiona Apple, to Pink, Cat Power, and Regina Spektor, and beyond.
We release this original Art Outsiders image on November 25th to coincide with the British release of her new live recordings of Before the Dawn, which you can get in the US starting on December 2nd, HERE.
She has a website, which you can get to HERE.
Neither Tennessee Loveless or Leslie Combemale, owner of ArtInsights, can imagine a life where her music didn't exist to move the world forward, express the beauty of feeling all the feelings, and being flamboyantly, unapologetically present.
Enjoy this art in the original or the limited edition of 95 signed by the artist.
