ABOUT GREG MCCULLOUGH:

Greg McCullough started his professional career at the age of 15, when he became a caricature artist at Six Flags Over Texas. By 18, he was illustrating for ad agencies across North Texas, and in 1998 he received national exposure with a series of Looney Tunes character illustrations for Tyson Foods.

With a dozen years of Disney inspired work through advertising agencies, in 2007 Greg found himself producing graphics for the Disney Parks through the Disney Design Group. His first assignment was the 2009 ''dated'' Disney Parks logo. There are over 40 additional illustrations by McCullough that are still seen by thousands every day in the Disney Parks and the Disney Cruise Lines. Greg’s career at Disney Parks has included such varied projects as Buzz and Woody illustrations for Frito-Lay chip bags, toy packaging for Toy Story II and A Bug’s Life, high profile Disney pin-trading marketing images, official posters for Star Wars Weekends at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and dozens of fine art images sold exclusively through Disney parks. One highlight in Greg’s experience with Disney was John Lasseter’s request to have his Toy Story art printed for his personal collection.

He often paints in oils. ''I have a passion for the grace and simplicity of animated characters. Painting with oils allows me to challenge my skills further than any other medium.''

A recent career high was the 2020 Epcot International Festival of Arts, which featured a McCullough work called Magical Reflection, which used 50 hidden Mickeys and 21 pieces of iconography from the opening day of Walt Disney World, in celebration of Magic Kingdom 50th anniversary in 2021.

Many fans who frequent Disney World know Greg McCullough’s work well. He is one of the most collected artists that are officially represented at the parks.

Greg believes one of his greatest accomplishments is his three plus decades of sobriety.  Abstinence has allowed him to live “life on life’s terms”.

True adventurers, Greg and his wife Nathalie traveled the North American continent as full time RVers in their home and production studio on wheels, called Adventure, before settling in Celebration, Florida. They are truly living the adage “Dreams Come True”.

In partnership with Greg and Nath McCullough, ArtInsights is proud to present “The Archive of Disney Editions by Greg McCullough”, Artist’s Proofs directly from the artist representing a collection of rare and sold out official Disney fine art limited editions.
