Robots Original and Limited Edition Art (2005)

Robots is a 2005 American computer animated comic science fiction film produced by Blue Sky Studios for Twentieth Century Fox.

The film takes place in a world of anthropomorphic robots. Rodney Copperbottom is a yong idealistic robot with a knack for engineering and inventing. Rodney leaves his hometown of Rivet Town to meet Bigweld, a master inventor and owner of Bigweld Industries, to get a job as an inventor and help his family. 

When Rodney arrives in Robot City, he meets and befriends a ragtag group of ramshackle old robots called the Rusties. Rodney begins to find work and garner attention with his skills in repairing bots. Rodney then uncovers a plot by the current CEO of Bigweld Industries, Phineas T Ratchet, to stop making spare parts for older robots and focus on selling more expensive upgrades. If older bots can't pay for the upgrades, they get sent to the underground Chop Shop, where they are shredded and melted down. Rodney and the Rusties, a robot-executive of Bigweld Industries, Cappy, and Bigweld himself confront Ratchet, leading to a city-wide battle for the future of robots.
